This was my first attempt at making a "number" cake. I used a 9" square pan for the "1" and a 8" round for the "8". The girl I did the cake for isn't too fond of fondant, so once again, I made black icing. (I do not like black icing!!) Being my first attempt a cake like this, I was pleased with how it turned out.
